Main search page/login page is throwing an error – java exception

Check to see if MySQL is running

Make sure you can connect to MSQL and it’s MediaStorev3 database

Check the MediaStore data source configuration file to ensure username/password/database name is correct

Can’t upload assets larger than a certain size

Check the MySQL’s configuration file my.cnf and make sure max_allowed_packet_size is set accordingly

Can’t upload assets at all

Uploaded file may be a restricted file type, i.e. an .exe, .scr etc. etc.

Check server logs to determine if the problem is with imagemagick/jmagick – if that is the case, contact Limehouse support

Can’t load Batch Asset Upload page

your browser doesn’t have the required JRE plugin or has the wrong version of the JRE

Emails are not being sent

Check to see if the mail alert is set to false in Config.properties.

Check to see if mail server has a valid working SMTP host

Uploading assets taking a long time

There are a lot of different factors that contribute to this Size of the image and its resolution are the main ones. The larger the image and the larger its resolution, the longer it takes to create thumbnails and previews. As a result uploading time increases.

Searching yields nothing or not the expected results

Please make sure that you have access to all the right categories. Consult your MediaStore administrator for this.

Make sure the asset has appropriate categories assigned correctly

Category administrators cannot find a given asset(s) in their administration console

Make sure that the asset has a correct primary category ID assigned to it

Request to approve an asset in a given category sent but it still does not appear in those requested categories

Administrators of those requested categories must approve the asset first for it to appear in those categories. Please contact your MediaStore administrators.
