MediaStore Installation – System Requirements

Installing MediaStore involves installation of the following components:

• Java SDK 1.4.2 (obtainable from java.sun.com)
• Jakarta Tomcat 5.0.25 (http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/index.html)
• Apache HTTP Server 2.0.50 (only if apache/tomcat integration is required)
• ImageMagick 5.5.7 (http://www.imagemagick.org/)
• JMagick 5.5.6-0 (http://www.yeo.id.au/jmagick)
• GhostScript (http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/)
• libXml

Please consult the deployment guide for an in depth outline on how to install MediaStore.

From a hardware perspective, MediaStore requires at least

• 1Gb of RAM
• 2GHz+ processor
• 40Gb + hard drive (this depends on usage)
• Ideally a Gigabit ethernet card. Failing that 10/100 ethernet card will suffice
